Accessibility migrated to CQRS

All content and functionality in SelfGuide adheres specific requirements before they can be viewed, edited, or used. For example, creating an instruction requires editor permissions, while viewing an instruction depends on access rights defined by content channels.

To support the upcoming migration of Instructions to CQRS, all accessibility-related modules have been migrated to the CQRS architecture. The new accessibility implementation serves as the single source of truth for both the legacy API and the new CQRS-based API.

This implementation includes:

• User roles
• Content channel membership and corresponding content assignments
• Content ownership
• Guest access configuration and assignment to the “Everyone” content channel

Instruction migration preparations

We are actively preparing for the migration of Instructions to the CQRS-based API. This release includes preperations to enable a smooth transition in the near future. Over the coming weeks, we will run migration simulations to evaluate performance and identify potential edge cases that could lead to issues.

These simulations will be scheduled during nights and weekends to minimize any impact on users.

Minor Enhancements

• Several vulnerability fixes have been addressed
• The ownership and instruction properties modal have been improved to fetch the latest data when opened
