The SelfGuide Recorder is used by editors on daily base to recorded steps to create or update an instruction. It's not always intuitive when the recording session is started and the first action can be performed. Besides that, editors get distracted by time or need to leave their workstation while the recording session is still running in the background. On return, normal work is continued by the editors and steps will be created about this work, that's absolutely not the intention anymore.
For these reasons, a red border has been added to the SelfGuide Recorder. This red border is visualized as long as the recording session is active.
This new feature is only available in the latest version of the SelfGuide Recorder, which can be downloaded at https://www.selfguide.com/downloads/recorder. As editor you will be notified in the Recorder when an older version is used. Take action to update to the newest version. For now, the older versions of the Recorder can still be used. In the future an upgrade will be required to.
The LMS integration now supports JWKS URL's to fetch the public key from the LMS. This update has been performed for two reason:
