Add SelfGuide to the Microsoft Office 365 app launcher

End-users often using the Microsoft Office 365 portal can benefit from a custom icon in the app launcher. The app launcher always contains the Office365 apps, by adding SelfGuide as a custom icon, the user has direct access to the platform without the need to remember and navigate to the URL by hand. Read below how SelfGuide can be added to the app launcher

  1. Sign-in to Microsoft Office 365 with administrator permissions
  2. Navigate to the Admin section
  3. Open Settings -> Organization profile -> Custom app launcher tiles
  1. Choose Add a custom tile
  1. Add all required fields and choose Save. For URL, it's important to add the url for the tenant, for example The tile image is public accesible using the url

From now on, the custom app is available for users in the Microsoft Office 365 app launcher. Depending on the usage, the app is directly visible or can be found underneath All apps.
